Doing our bit

Our environment matters

We’re committed to making the world a better place, inside and outside the office, which is why we’ve made our platform carbon neutral.

The Commmunity

At Wotter, we care about supporting the community. For that reason, we match the total of all funds raised by our team members for charitable organisations. We like to get stuck in and support charities promoted by our clients, too.

Here’s just a few of the causes Wotter’s supported recently:

Refuge

Refuge is the largest domestic abuse organisation in the UK. Every day, Refuge supports thousands of women and their children, helping them to overcome the physical, emotional, financial and logistical impacts of abuse and rebuild their lives — free from fear.

The Literacy Hubs

The Literacy Hubs help young people to develop the literacy skills they need to thrive. They work with young people from the least advantaged communities, building learning programs tailored to their specific literacy needs. These unique and creative learning environments help young people to develop their literacy skills and fall in love with reading and writing.

Foothold

Foothold supports engineers and their families through times of difficulty. Foothold helps out with financial struggles, legal advice, wellbeing and plenty more.

Eight Foundation

Eight Foundation is a grant-making Trust created by CEO of Eight Wealth Management, Ian Riggs, to help the local community with situations surrounding health, poverty and education.

The LGBTQIA+ Community

Wotter provides tickets for underprivileged members of the local LGBTQIA+ community to go to nearby Pride events.

Education & Apprenticeships

We’re passionate about supporting members of the local community in their education and future careers. That’s why Wotter provides work experience opportunities to people in further education and participates in initiatives like the Government’s Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme helped to create new jobs for 16-24 year-olds on Universal Credit at risk of long-term unemployment. Through the Kickstart Scheme, we’ve helped to train and equip a number of great people who have now been able to find full-time work in aspirational careers.
